The Illegal Underland
In a garden laced with poison,
a girl merges—body and soul—with the creatures she cherishes.
Caterpillars, toxic flowers, mushrooms, sea slugs…
and a sailor-uniformed schoolgirl.
This full-color comic & illustration collection—resembling a hauntingly beautiful field guide—
explores symbiosis and parasitism between humans and strange organisms,
painted by the underground watercolor artist known for her love of insects and the uncanny.
